New Song Center for Grieving Children needs volunteers to help run support groups that meet at five locations across the Valley.
Training will be offered this month. Sessions will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 20; 5:30–9 p.m. Jan. 22; 5:30–9 p.m. Jan. 25; and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 27. The location is Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix.
Volunteers help families as they come together every two weeks for group support and a pizza dinner. Being a New Song facilitator is a rewarding way to make a difference.
